In the Northern Lut in Iran we met a family who showd us the entire stereoscopic photo archive of somebody who we think must have been a diplomat travelling Eastern Europe and the Orient after the turn of the century. We sometimes still try to find out who this was, posing with his family on a ship called Esperia Genova, entering a huge double decker with the registration number 2067A, written both in arabic and islamic numbers and driving a car with the license plate CD998.
